Support, Accountability, and Encouragement for the Christian Homeschool Family
Welcome to the new year! We are so glad you are part of CCA. We pray your homeschool journey will be one of blessing to you and your family. We are here to help you along the way and to provide support. Let us go into this new school year with anticipation of what God will do in our families even when things seem so uncertain around us.
For the 2023 – 2024 school year, Covenant Christian Academy (a Private Satellite Program or PSP) has 54 families taking part and 100 students K-12 (and 14 pre-school students). Our parents give deeply of their time and talents to make Covenant Christian Academy what it is. We are strong because of the willingness of our families to serve one another in many ways. We firmly believe that our children are our future. Seeds planted and cultivated today will bear much fruit tomorrow. God is faithful to lead and guide us in all we undertake. It is because of Him that we are able to not only train our children, but also raise them to lead productive lives of service towards God and others, striving for excellence in all they do.

Requirements of Parents:
Covenant Christian Academy was founded upon a statement of faith, which adheres to the basic tenets of the historical church. Because we believe God and His Word are the source of all truth and life, it is necessary that we boldly proclaim this faith and operate with these truths in mind. While we realize there is a variety of doctrinal beliefs within Christ's church today (and these doctrinal differences must be left to other arenas), there are some basic essentials of salvation. The points central to salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ make up Covenant Christian Academy's statement of faith. We believe that within the close fellowship of this program, it is important for all that participate to agree with these basic beliefs. While we do not wish to discriminate against those who do not believe in these points, we believe that to work so intimately with those of another faith is detrimental to both faiths. Therefore, we require all members to agree with and sign our statement of faith.
Basic Tenants of Faith:
1. We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired Word of God, the final Authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible and God-breathed. (I1 Tim. 3:16-17, II Peter 1:19-21)
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Col. 1: 16-19)
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His ascension and His personal return in power and glory. (Heb. 1, Isa.&: 14, II Cor. 5:21, Acts 2:22, I Pet. 2:24, Acts 5:30, Acts 1:10)
4. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person proceeding from the Father and the Son and is therefore eternal, and of the same essence, majesty and glory with the Father and the Son. We believe, therefore, that the Holy Spirit is truly God. (Heb. 9:14, John 4:23-26, II Cor. 3:14-17)
5. We believe salvation is the gift of god brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. (Eph. 2:8-9, Titus 3:5-6, John 3:14-17)
6. We believe in that "Blessed Hope," the personal imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones; and His subsequent return to the earth, with His saints to establish His Kingdom. We believe in the bodily resurrection to all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment. (Titus 2: 13. Jude 14, 15, John 5:24-29)
7. We believe God in His Word has given us the responsibility and authority to educate our children in a godly manner. (Col. 3:17, Deut. 6:6-8, 11:18-21, Prov. 22:6, Ps.1: 1,2, Col. 2:8, Luke 6:40)
